Leaving Kentucky for Arkansas is more lateral than some would think. Like Kentucky, Calipari's money will stretch in Arkansas with the cost of living. As far as tradition....sure KY is the Blue- blood, but the Hogs have some good history. At the end of the day...follow PEACE over all else. Arkansas got themselves quite the catch, & Kentucky gets a fresh start.

As a UK fan, Arkansas has the most passionate fans in the country. Arkansas was dominant during the 90s and made 2 elite 8s and 3 sweet sixteens in the past 5 yrs. I'm afraid they just woke up a monster in both Arkansas and Calipari. Most people dont realize that Arkansas is yr in and yr out the best overall athletics department in the SEC. Bruh Jay Williams had terrible arguments this segment. No one is talking about the lack of championships its more so the lack of ANY tournament success.

Duke, Kansas and UNC don't win every year but they are relevant in the tournament every year. They don't go 5 years without a sweet 16. Cal has underachieved so much the last 5, 6 years hes lucky he didnt get fired.

do people not realize Kentucky had 7 national championships before Calipari? do casuals not understand that the standard of Kentucky basketball is the equivalent of Alabama football? do sport watchers not know that Kentucky has only lost to a 14 seed or lower only 4 times in the NCAA tournament in its EXISTENCE & 2 out of the 4 came under CALIPARI?? again, did they not watch what UK fans witnessed this past year? 3 straight losses at Rupp Arena for the first time EVER! Tied longest drought in program history for not winning the SEC. Bounced in the NCAAs first round again!! These players he recruited were going to the NBA REGARDLESS, he didn’t coach or develop them at ALL. People fail to grasp that!! It was time for him to go! It’s gonna be hard to find a replacement because they’ll have to leave their current college, & Mitch Barnhardt shouldn’t have paid him all that money, he should’ve been fired!

Caliparis Benefit package is way better at Arkansas. Kentucky is a Blue Blood and Arkansas done better in the last 5 years. Now Cal Gets 6 millions NIL not 4 at Kentucky and better fan base that is just happy to make the tourney. Lower expectations and best facilities you can find and Loyal fans. Sounds like an upgrade to me

Arkansas may not be a Blue Blood program. But, Arkansas has everything in place to become a Blue Blood program. An 18, 000 seat NBA quality arena. A private plane at Coach Cal beck and call. A new NIL collective being pushed by the Walton family, JB Hunt Family, the Tyson family, Jerry Jones, Stephen's inc. And the list goes on. And now we have the coach.
