All i've wanted from an NHL game is having the base game look, feel and play like real hockey. Then reflect that in realistic statistics. The AI in these games have been lacking to say the least. Also, PC gaming has taken off in the past few years, other companies are seeing the huge financial benefits of bringing their games to PC, not sure why EA refuses to do it.

It’s pretty sad that all the things that people want (outside of crossplay) have all been in past versions of the game… how hard can it be to put stuff back into a game?

Best thing that could happen to any game franchise (NHL, NFL, FIFA etc.) is competition. i would love to see any other studio take a shot at making an NHL game for EA to finally make some real improvement.
