Patient Flow Leaders Debate

Effective streamlining of hospital processes to address patient flow is at the forefront of planners and operational leader’s objectives to help tackle the NHS backlog. To optimise patient flow, the demand for care needs to be met in a timely, efficient, and effective manner. This can be achieved by moving patients through care pathways whilst improving coordination of care, patient safety, and health outcomes. Providers strive to successfully match the appropriate number of resources to each of their admissions to optimise patient flow.

During this talk, healthcare professionals will discuss new programmes and initiatives to improve patient flow, as well as any other potential barriers. The panel will also discuss other concerns including, funding, downtime, and training issues within researching.
