Triple Screen for Sim Racing [Triple Monitor Setup Guide]

After nearly a year of exclusive VR use, I recently modified my sim racing rig to support triple screens. So this video is an instructional guide about how to set up triple monitors but it's also a collection of all of the things I've learned along the way, mostly by making mistakes!

Puting together a triple screen setup for your sim racing rig not particularly complex, but there are a few potential pitfalls. And, for me, the most important aspect is selecting the right monitors and video card for the job. However, setting up triple monitor support in racing sims does differ from title to title, with RaceRoom taking the title of least intuitive sim racing title for triple screen support.

Because I know someone will ask, my triple screen sim racing setup is:

Video Card: EVGA Nvidia GTC 1080Ti
Monitors: Dell Ultrasharp U2715h (x3)
Dash Display: Bestview S7 7"
Stand: GT Omega Triple Monitor Stand
Game: Assetto Corsa (Audi R8 LMS at Donington)

I switched from a single screen to VR, just under a year ago and I don't see myself every going back. That being said, I do miss playing AC at near max settings with a high fps with my 1060.

In the future I'd like to set up my rig so I can run both VR and triples. This video will help me out a ton, when it comes time. Thanks a ton!

I 100% agree with you on your screen size, distance and with the edges align with your eyes.
I am following a lot simracers but none of them mention this which I think is VERY important setup. You don't drive real race cars from the back seats. I seen people Simracing from 10 feets of the screen because of their oversized monitors, It's like driving from the trunk.

Excellent video! I've also found that gsync/freesync make a huge difference to sim racing! I don't think I could now go back to 60hz, or enjoy racing without monitor sync. Keep up the good work. 😁
