I had to play a high school match with a pin like this a month ago. From 15 feet dude did a toilet bowl around the cup, it came all the way back off the green. All four of us ended up stuck below the hole. If you were past it, you HAD to hit the hole, or no matter how hard you hit it it was rolling all the way back. It was awful, I was lucky to get out with a bogey

There is rules for hole placement. I believe if you cut a hole it has to be so far from the edge of the green and if you drop a ball within 3 or 5 feet it has to stay in its place and not roll.

I play, in my best lynard Skynyrd singing voice "in the hills of Carolina" ... nah but seriously i play up in the mountains in the Carolinas and i have to say our greens are like landing your ball on a hilly playground slide. Better hit the middle or its asta- LA-vista ball. Oh did i mention you will be putting on the side of mount Everest + across ice.... So if you put to much on it... get your wedges back out because its bye-bye ball and Bye-bye Try again. Rinse and repeat for 17 holes you'll get one hole thats down hill but its generally one of those "oh crap, the green is right there directly at the bottom of the hill" kind of shots. Laying up is hitting blindly down a hill you can't walk up or see the only target you got is the sky & a prayer😂😂😂😂😂😂 the equivalent of spray and thank you for letting me vent after todays round. Hope you all have a golf season filled with nothing but success+and awesome rounds! It takes a special forces kind of person to play the game of golf and call themselves a real golfer. Even Michael Jordan dominated basketball. Did pretty decent in But golf is the one sport that whooped his behind quarters & he still plays golf.
