Today was one of the worst days of my life, my dearest Charlie passed away peacefully this morning. I am so honored to have been able to care for him over the past 4 years since my mom passed away. He has brought me so much joy and comfort over the years and I am forever grateful to him. I love you Charlie and I will miss you so very much

I'm so sorry about Charlie. This was hard to watch because we lost one of our kitties a few weeks ago. I broke down when you were talking to Charlie because it reminded me of how we talked to our Indy at the end. He was a sweet dog and I'm glad you had him as a source of comfort after your mom's passing.

I loved to see Charlie in your videos, which I’ve been watching since the twins were 13
(I discovered your vlog when you did the DNA video).
Anyway, when the first cat we ever had died, and I was utterly crushed emotionally, my father, who was very wise, told me that when a pet dies, the grief feels identical to losing a close PERSON.
He advised me to understand that and that it was normal to grieve.
Charlie was a lovely and sweet dog. I’m so sorry.😢

Smugly the ugly chihuahua. I’m sorry Charlie you were never ugly. You were the best, funniest dog ever. Your bark was strange but I loved it and I really loved when he used to run around in little circles chewing his “baby”.
