Thanks for the review and mentioning the updates the robot and the app got. I was thinking of buying the 2nd gen due to the Zone cleaning feature. But thanks to your video I now definitly know that I can Stick to the first gen. and Save someone Money because I dont need the wer cleaning feature.

Hey does this 1st gen now have the option to save maps? As old reviews show that every new cleaning new map is generated which is bad :/

Klausimėlis, robota turit jau ilgą laiką ir kaip dėl filtro, kiek žinau šioje versijoje jie nėra plaunami? O antroje versijoje galima juos plauti ir kiek girdėjau tinka taip pat ir pirmai versijai. Gal bandėte plauti būtent pirmos versijo filtrą? Aišku kaina tikrai nėra didelė "atsarginių" dalių, bet klausimas dėl įdomumo. Ar tiesiog parašyta, kad plauti negalima, nors iš tikrųjų nieko blogo jam nenutinka?

I got this vacuum a couple of months ago, and even though it worked PERFECTLY at the beginning (mapping all of the surfaces of my apartment and cleaning every part of it, and specially around the edges of the furniture), after I installed its latest software update, I dare to say it decreased its accuracy on a 50% or even more, it now leaves entire areas of my apartment without being cleaned, and when I check the cleaning history and the maps, I can see it is now super messy, instead of doing “zig zag” cycles like before, it now behaves super weird, doing weird circles.

The reason why I chose Xiaomi over Roomba was actually because of its accuracy when mapping the surface, and the way it perfectly cleaned around the furniture, but it's a shame that I've been trying to contact their customer support, and it's definitely a mission impossible.
