I love this way that Angel's egg story is presented, in a much likely fairy tale-ish kind of story. It gives me the Will to come back to the sea bed town and understand all behind the tale between the Egg, the Girl, and the Soldier.

A commenter put their interpretation of it in the comments the movie which was uploaded.  "She is a lost soul of the bird walking through purgatory.  She never crossed over to the after life cause of her obsession with hatching her egg.  Her egg was more important then returning to tell Noah if the flood had resided or not.  She doesn't know she's dead and her egg wasn't destined to hatch.  Those on the ark where also dead and the souls were still awaiting news from the bird.  The young man sought to find a resolve and eliminate the egg to set her free, then her soul could return to the ark and the other souls could rest as well."  - Williany Amill
