It's been a while since the last Celtic song. Indeed, that's not 100% celtic, there's a lot of adventure elements, I kinda wanted to make a song similar to 'Medieval Anthem' that a lot of people loved :)

If life were a fantasy, I'd feel at home wherever I go.


The magic that dwindles in the air, channelled by your inner-self, the dance of the forest that tells stories of times, and the occasional "evil of all" who comes to disturb the lands with a hero sent out on their journey to put an end to the villain's mischief (actually forget that part. That's over reacting a story).
Costumes and clothes would look so cool. Dressing up as some kind of forest elf or archer of the east. Maybe a magician with robes that shield your identity and a staff you carry with you at all times. A warrior, swordsman or whatever who's loyalty is to protect the forest. A wonderer who seeks to befriend a wild beast of the forest. Perhaps a simple villager who lives as proud figure. The barman who gets the joy of listening to tales or the resident of a manor. Or are you the oracle/seer/wiseman who gives guidance to all and pray tell prophesise future as to be. Or do you dare be a cruel and embodiment of evil who causes wickedness and havoc across the forest with some unforetold backstory that caused you to do treason.
The forest of fantasy will let you decide who you, for only it is your imagination that will pull you away.

As happy as it is, I can't help but tear up every time I listen to this. I have a character that I have been using for almost 10 years as of this comment. Almost 10 years of working and refining him, building his character and so on. I finally got to write his end. It is a fantasy character who fell in love with nature and its splendor, living in it for his entire young life, but gave it up for the love of his life and went to live in society with her. He returns to his forest home as a widowed old man, to at least spend his final years in a place he loved. Thanks to the friends he had made over his life though, he was magically gifted one more day. One final day in the forest as a young man. So, he decides to run, and this song takes place over that run. The pure joy and freedom he feels during his final hours as all the restrictions of society are cast off, this song is perfect for it, and inspired this final scene. Thank you Peter.
