The knife is meant to be stored on the side of his right boot, and the cape is meant to be tucked to the side of the jetpack like he does in the show, just a small FYI!

The forearms' gauntlets can be rotated btw! You can move it to the side like in the old figure, which is how it's meant to be. Bit strange that most figures seem to have it rotated so that the details are on the back, but it's an easy fix!

There is actually a full Din Djarin head under the new figure's helmet! This was first revealed when the sculptors of the new figure showed some of the scans including one without the helmet. For some reason Hasbro likes to glue the helmets on Stormtroopers, some Clones, and Din Djarins to the head, despite them having fully-sculpted heads under.

Fun fact, the new pegs and ports for jet pack are compatible with boba Fett's jet pack and vice versa

Just imagine a revenge of the sith anakin with all this articulation and detail for 25 bucks with a guarantee that the face would look better than its Bandai counterpart! $25 vs $80. Would be a dream come true lol

3:38 This is the way leg articulation is now for Black Series. I too prefer double jointed. I also prefer bicep swivels on the arms. It hurts my brain seeing the lower arms swivel and the biceps always facing forward, like when Imperial Officers are posed with their arms behind their backs. Try doing that motion with your real arms. The biceps move with the lower arms and face the same direction.

The knife stores in the side of the boot. I didn't know where to put it either until I had watched another review

If you don't want to lose any parts, you can always put them in smaller rubbermaid food containers.

FYI the product images shows the knife stored in his right boot!!!

I don't mind single joints on elbows and knees but I wish they could improve it further to give it more range. Honestly I think they should adopt Marvel Legends's pinless double joints elbows and knees for the Black Series.

People saying that this one is better than imports is because of the overall aesthetic. For some reason none of the campanies were able to nail Mando's look even though they all have made some pretty great figures with Mandalorian armor. The helmet of the old black series one pretty much ruins the whole figure. The Figuarts ones all have weird proportions even after trying for four times! And the Mafex one was probably the best, but the visor being too thin kinda throws off the look, and the outdated accessories makes it hard to call that figure the best.

It kind of reminds me of how all three companies were having a hard time making a good Darth Vader figure. They all tried several times but can't nail the proportions and the helmet sculpt. And then there came the mighty ANH Vader from Hasbro, which back then people too were calling it the best even comparing to the imports. Of course after that, both Mafex and Figuarts were able to make great Vader figures that surpassed Hasbro, which is probably what will happen here too after the new Mafex Mando comes out. But as for now, this new Hasbro Mando is definitely the best aestheticwise

Glavis Ringworld is the space station where he delivers the head and finds the Armorer.

The single jointed elbows and knees don’t bother me. Other than kneeling poses I wouldn’t need the double joints.

The hands have been the same for all of the releases. It’s pretty much the Black Series MO to give one hand that is functional and another hand that either can’t grip a blaster or lightsaber.

My biggest issue with this release is that it didn’t come with the Beskar spear. This is the last Mando version that could come with the spear since it was melted down. The only spear in the line was in the three pack re-pack with Ahsoka and Grogu.

first off weird to me is no rifle, but hole for rifle, assuming I guess we have one already? Also a rifle bandolier with shells, but no rifle (which might be a SW design more than Hasbro re-use)

I don’t have import Mandos so this is the best Mandalorian I own. I think the proportions are the most accurate to show representation. The hand tolerance and not being able to hold the vibro knife is dumb. It is just an adornment to his boot. The knee looks really odd when bent. I also think the knee cap on a double jointed knee looks equally as odd. Overall the action figure moves as well as I could hope and it looks so good. The beast was called a Mudhorn.

For Less than Half to a Third the price of an Import, This Is A Hell of an Upgrade, for around $25. The Overall Sculpt and Proportions are So Much Better. You Completely Missed that the Reason for the Overlays was done to Include Butterfly Joints which Greatly Improve Double Handed Weapon Holding. You also Completely Missed the Gauntlet Swivel to Rotate the Forearms Independently of the Elbows. Aa for the Knees, the New Single Jointed/Swivel Knees Look a Thousand Times Better than the Old Double Jointed Knees, which just Look Bizarre when Bent. They went to the New Knee Design became it Looks More Natural when Bent, and Doesn't break up the sculpt like Double Jointed Knees do. Figuarts & Mafex also use Similar Knees. My Only Complaint with This Figure is the Lack of Interchangeable Hands. He should have come with at least One Extra Hand to be able to hold the Vibro Knife, when it isn't Stored in His Right Boot.

I’m gonna stick with my original beskar version and my deluxe variant in my display because they still hold up and look good in the set. But this figure will be great for new collectors who didn’t get the chance to get this guy in the past.

Nice review. I think its significantly better than previous versions. But I agree with your forearm and grip comment. And I’m not sure I like the floating shoulder pads. I don’t like how they limit some of the arm rotation.

I kinda want to see your original review because first impressions are more honest. I'm still getting it because it's a Black Series Mandalorian but I'm not proud of myself for doing so. Single joints are the worst because it makes it feel like a glorified basic figure and we all know why they're doing it because Star Wars isn't the best selling stuff anymore, hell Lightning Collection was outselling it and was much more profitable for Hasbro which is why I don't understand the reasoning behind putting LC on hiatus. That's my honest thoughts up until I get mine.

I’m going to get this figure as it’s the best mandalorian figure
