Ewan McGregor himself revealed the new Obi-Wan Kenobi action figure last night, though even he thinks it doesn't really look like him xD I don't really get how that happens. They already have a perfect likeness with the Clone War Kenobi's. All they had to do was add slightly diffferent hair but no 😅

Learned a lil somethin about Walgreens in the last few weeks. The amount of figures they have in stock is almost solely dependent on how much they request to have. Last Friday I went to a Walgreens I had never been to before and boom there it was, a clone endcap, 24 of them. Talked to the manager and that's when told me "well they had sent me 3 to start, and I thought for an exclusive and clones that wasn't enough..so i ordered 24 more. And should have another 24 Tuesday if you need anymore."

We have been wanting the Cantina Band since the very beginning! OT fans have been clamoring for more background aliens/characters as opposed to the main hero character fatigue we've been sort of having with the OT. And yeah, Nalan Cheel! THAT is a deluxe figure. Really nice additions with the alternate hands and even the stool for the drummer. Bummed to see people hating on the Modal Nodes.

187th was a pleasant surprise and exactly what we want as far as wanting Hasbro to simply repaint a clone to create a new figure as opposed to something like the Carbonized line or Credit Collection. Massive L on being a Walgreens exclusive though, super frustrating to see.

Also, HUGE missed opportunity for not doing anything for the 20th Attack of the Clones (hopefully this changes in the next few weeks, they said another stream at the end of this month right?)! New Republic Security droid being an all new sculpt was good news as well. I think it looks great! Overall solid reveals.

When they said that they were going to get to the rest of the band in a minute, I was so hoping for a Pulse exclusive boxed set of 5, just to be one and done instead of having to hunt for individuals. But I can't really complain, I'll be working to fill the whole roster out. Gotta find a third party dio for the cantina stage and a couple of booths to stick next to it to go with the bar from the Showdown set. And then a few more cantina patrons... 💸💸💸😄

This stream is making me realize how much the price increases have changed my collecting. A few years ago, I'd have every band member without a 2nd thought. Now.... I don't think they're worth it to me when I'd play with one for 5 minutes, and check out the instruments and then put them all on display likely to never be messed with again.

Is it me or am I the only one seeing only grown middle Aged men shopping in the action figure aisles? I'll lose my mind when that's revealed, that's been my most wanted figure in the whole line ever since that season aired.

Been loving these little rambles. While I don’t collect much OT, I do really appreciate the attention to accessories (hands, instruments) on the bith. Very well done. The Walgreens exclusive for the clone was quite a sting for us, especially knowing how difficult it was to find the 212th. Pretty solid stream all around though! Hoping we get some more cool reveals soon!

Apparently the 187th color discrepancy comes from the fact that the brown is for the 187th Battalion that is part of the 187th Legion, which is where the purple comes from? Something like that.
That was the reasoning I poked around and found anyway, but who knows?

If we’re getting the HK-47 droid it means we’re likely to get the Magistrate as well.

And if you look really closely, the droid has a Chimaera symbol on the side of its head, which is the same symbol that Thrawn had painted on his Star Destroyer as seen in Rebels. It’s a small detail but cool to see on the droid in the show.
