Using a PicoScope 2000A (from the element14 Community) James walks through key measurements and demonstrations using the built-in arbitrary waveform generator. He explores new functionalities in PicoScope 7, such as the improved UI, a unique feature called DeepMeasure, and decoding I3C traffic.

One clarification, on the I2C/I3C demo, I said: "I changed the I2C clock to match the I3C example." I should have mentioned, I slowed down the I3C device from 1 Mbps to 400 kHz. The pulse width comparison was a little clearer at 400 kHz.

Got an ADC-12 in 1993.... great product (12 bit ADC plugged into the parallel printer port on a PC...) Used it to read waveforms from the prototype penetrometer I was developing for the Huygens probe.

This looks pretty good, that's a bunch of serial decoders, making me jealous. I always thought they had okay software, especially with the automotive stuff, but this looks worlds better than anything I've seen in the past.

I'm a Pico fan, largely cuz they don't nickel & dime you with ridiculous software options, and especially cuz they don't hold the hardware you own hostage to upgrade charges. Having Linux & Mac software is fantastic too!!!

5:05 That type of pop-in video of something else is very annoying. e14 community might want to cease doing this in their video so people can actually see what is on the screen! Otherwise, it is a nice channel with relevant information presented in a cool way.
