Τελικά το ερώτημα για το ποιος ακριβώς ήταν ο στόχος των Ισραηλινών μαχητικών αεροσκαφών, που πραγματοποίησαν αεροπορικό χτύπημα, το Σάββατο το πρωί, στη δυτική Συρία, κοντά στην Ταρτούς, σε πτηνοτροφεία της περιοχής, φαίνεται ότι απαντήθηκε και μάλιστα πολύ σύντομα, καθώς όπως αναφέρει η ειδησεογραφική ιστοσελίδα The Times of Israel, το τηλεοπτικό κανάλι 12 του Ισραήλ, χωρίς να κατονομάζει κάποια πηγή πληροφοριών, μετέδωσε πως η τοποθεσία «υποδηλώνει ότι στόχευσε ένα όπλο που μεταφέρθηκε δια θαλάσσης, πιθανώς χρησιμοποιώντας ιρανικά πλοία που ελλιμενίστηκαν στο λιμάνι την περασμένη εβδομάδα».
Συμπληρώνοντας ότι το χτύπημα έγινε εν μέσω «μιας νέας κίνησης των Ιρανών στη Συρία για την εισαγωγή συστήματος αεράμυνας, για την προστασία των στρατιωτικών τους συμφερόντων».
Λύνοντας κατά αυτόν τον τρόπο το μυστήριο που είχε προκύψει, αφού όπως είναι γνωστό, οι Ισραηλινές Ένοπλες Δυνάμεις, ποτέ δεν σχολιάζουν χτυπήματα, σε άλλη χώρα, οπότε δεν θα μπορούσαμε να έχουμε αλλιώς αυτήν την πληροφορία, παρά μόνο εμμέσως, όπως και έγινε.
Αντιαεροπορικά συστήματα αποδείχτηκαν λοιπόν, ότι έκρυβαν τα αυγά από τις κότες στα πτηνοτροφεία, κάτι που θα πρέπει να μας υπενθυμίζει, πως ότι βλέπουμε και ακούμε, μπορεί να μην είναι και αυτό που ισχύει...
