7 Years Living in a Toyota Tacoma: 12,000FT in the San Juan Mountains, Incredible Mining Ruins
Показать описание
Happy Saturday Morning Everyone! I hope your weekend is off to a great start. In this video I check out some incredible mining ruins just above 12K feet. This complex is called the Golconda Mine and the Boarding House (pictured in the thumbnail) is the largest of its kind still standing in the San Juan Mountains of Colorado. I am thoroughly enjoying my time here checking out all the mining ruins and taking in these breathtaking views. Thanks for tuning in! ~ Brian & Sierra

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN OFF-GRID AND SELF SUFFICIENT HOMESTEADING
Definition of "Off-Grid": Off-the-grid or off-grid is a characteristic of buildings and a lifestyle designed in an independent manner without reliance on one or more public utilities. The term "off-the-grid" traditionally refers to not being connected to the electrical grid, but can also include other utilities like water, gas, and sewer systems, and can scale from residential homes to small communities.
Self-sufficient homesteading means needing no outside help in satisfying one's basic needs, especially about the production of food, and homesteading means living a lifestyle of self-sufficiency. So by those definitions, the key to homesteading is learning to be self-sufficient.
