In my experience, Calvanism becomes the hermeneutic through which the rest of scripture is interpreted. It's the lens that is applied to all scripture by a Calvanist.

Being Calvinist requires an extraordinary amount of ignorance and an unwillingness to understand the other side. Often Calvinists paint the other side as believing things that don't make any sense if you actually understand the position.

A classic example is when they say, "So God is trying desperately to save people and failing?!"

Of course that question makes no sense because 1) God doesn't desperately do anything because he has the power to do literally whatever he wants to and 2) He is trying to save everyone who puts faith in him and His Son, not those who reject his son and refuse to believe and repent. He wants those people to leave their sin and be saved but he's made it crystal clear that he's only going to save those who do what he requires in order to be saved.

Calvinist responses often leave me wondering if the person is partially braindead.

Leighton is a theological girl. He doesn’t make a strong argument at all His debate with White was an embarrassment to him.

(41:03) Here Dr. Flowers is asked how he would answer a Calvinist asking him to explain John 6:44: "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him. And I will raise him up on the last day." His answer goes on and on - for more than 15 minutes! In the end he basically says that in order to understand this verse, you have to understand it in the context that he understands it. I guess my question is, if someone wanted to became a Provisionist, do they have to know everything that took the founder of Provisionism 15 minutes to explain? Because I doubt that a Calvinist would take that long. To me John 6:44 says what it says: "No one" that means no one, "can come to me, " that means no one can come to Jesus, "unless the Father, " unless God, "who sent me draws him." All that Jesus is saying here is that not one person can come to Him unless drawn by the Father. "And I will raise him up on the last day." The person who is drawn by the Father to Jesus, will be raised up on the last day. Simple. Where am I wrong?

Jonathan Edwards, RC Sproul and John Piper, right or wrong, do not "happen" to be calvinists. It's an outgrowth of their biblical exegesis.

Modern heresy, 5800 years from creation and 2000 years of christianity only to reach to this heresy of provisionism, practically mr flowers restored man at his original state before being tempted, because this is exactly what it states.
