I am currently in my cutting cycle! For those of you who aren’t familiar, a cutting cycle are when you're trying to lose fat and maintain muscle mass.

Today I am going to walk you through my daily diet during this cutting cycle. Eating is very important for your health and it is also important to enjoy the food you consume. You don’t need to eat just chicken and rice to be healthy and fit. If this is going to be a sustainable lifestyle, the key is to enjoy it. In this video, we breakdown what I eat from breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Breakfast

Lunch
Smoked salmon with wasa crispbread

Snack
Dark cherry protein shake
- Put the powder in a shaker at home. mixing and drinking on the go.

I'm with everyone else on the sound quality. This is not the usual quality for sound or video (it's really blurry)that Magnus has on his videos. The message is great but it's extremely hard to listen to it. I turned off the sound and just looked at the subtitles. There! now It's tolerable,

Great video as always Mangus! Quick question for you: During a cut, should one's caloric intake stay the same day-to-day despite workout intensity? I ask because there are 2-3 days every week where I'm burning upwards of 1, 500 calories since I do HIIT, weights, and boxing sessions those days. Other days I'm burning around 600-1, 000 calories. So I'm wondering if my goal caloric intake should fluctuate day-to-day based on my workout intensity or if I should keep it the same each day? Thanks as always for your great content!

I’ve been following you for a couple years and love your content…I’ve read multiple nutritionist articles that all say you can only absorb 25-30 grams of protein per meal and the rest goes to waist…I am 6’3” 210lbs and I’m lean with decent muscle but I’ve always wanted to eat my body weight in protein but it’s hard to do when you consider that would take me 7 meals at 30 grams of protein per meal…what is your take on protein intake per meal? Sorry for the long question

Magnus, i notice there is one snack less, only one snack per day in cutting cycle to be in caloric deficit, right?

2600 calories on a cutting cycle?!?!?!?! Crazy to see so many fitness youtubers/influencers whatever who go on cut cycles eating 1500 calories a day. Your approach seems so much more sustainable!

Magnus, how long is cutting okay? Can we not get in such a fat deficit that certain hormones and vitamins are neglected and we experience issues?
