Στη θάλασσα σταμάτησαν οι φλόγες στον οικισμό Σηπιάδα Δυτικά της Λίμνης στην Εύβοια αφού στην πορεία τους μέχρι εκεί, έκαψαν ότι βρήκαν μπροστά τους, είτε πρόκειται για σπίτια, είτε πρόκειται για τουριστικές εγκαταστάσεις, είτε πρόκειται για δάσος.
Η φωτιά κατέβηκε με μεγάλη δύναμη από το βουνό και μπόρεσε να ξεπεράσει και την τελευταία "ζώνη άμυνας" που είχαν στήσει οι πυροσβέστες κατά μήκος του παραλιακού δρόμου που οδηγεί από τη Λίμνη στις Ροβιές. Η ορμή της φωτιάς ήταν μεγάλη πέρασε το δρόμο και έκαψε ότι μπορούσε να βρει μπροστά της. Λίγο πριν οι πυροσβέστες συγκεντρώνοντας ένα μεγάλο μέρος των δυνάμεων τους έδωσαν μεγάλη μάχη και δεν επέτρεψαν να περάσουν οι φλόγες στον οικισμό Χρόνια 2 χιλιόμετρα μετά τον οικισμό Σηπιάδα.
