Full Measure Of Man By Barrister and Mann | The Daily Shave

Hey guys! Ross here back for another Daily Shave! Today’s shave features Barrister and Mann - Full Measure of Man (FMoM).

FMoM is Barrister and Mann’s long awaited take on tobacco and boy does it make a statement. This dry tobacco packs a punch with a subtle note of sandalwood and the always powerful (and dare I say polarizing) Mousse de Saxe note. This MdS really gives this scent a bold take. Scent strength is easily a 7-8 out of 10 and is one of the strongest scented soaps I’ve used in awhile.

The Excelsior base continues to excel in every metric. This is one base that is hard to get away from as it’s proven to be such a consistent and reliable base time and time again. You can’t go wrong.

Not a fan of tobacco scents in general, but I dig this one. It's mildly sweet not overly sweet, warm and just a tiny amount herbaceous.

It's definitely a love or hate scent on this one. Glad I fell into the love range when I snagged it. Hoping for the same with B&M's Oceana that I copped today. Good shave as always, Ross.

Ross, nice shave bro💈💈 I'm a fan of tobacco scents, ymmv, this one sounds great and B&M does scents so well. Nice razor as well there, Shane does good work. No issues and a clean finish, just what we like. Nice review, well done. Enjoy!

Probably my favorite tobacco-based scent.

But I’m so sad that you cannot get this as a balm any more.

I’ve hear the aftershave is different. But I cannot confirm this, as I have not used this aftershave yet…as I’m still searching for the balm from an eBay or other seller.

Outstanding shave and review Ross, as always! The soap and balm are absolutely amazing performers. The scent instantly bound into my top 5 favorites. That being said, I love both tobacco and the Mousse de Saxe accord scents so Will pitched this one right in my wheelhouse. That Blackbird Ti looks amazingly efficient...can’t wait for a Shane to get more in stock. Cheers Ross!

Tried it for the first time last week. Love it. It’s refined to me. Like an elegant library wearing a smoking jacket drinking some baller scotch. I get some leather notes as well. Big fan!
