Mahindra ScorpioN 4x4 vs Thar Off-Road Challenge | Who’s The Daddy Now?

The Scorpio has been reincarnated as the Scorpio N in its new generation and while it is a more modern SUV in every way, it’s still based on a good old fashioned ladder-frame chassis. What’s more, it also offers a proper 4x4 drivetrain with the diesel engine. It shares these SUV traits with Mahindra’s purpose-built off-roader, the Thar, while packaging this pedigree in something more family-friendly.

It’s fair to say that for off-road enthusiasts, the Thar will be the weapon of choice but how close can the Scorpio 4x4 get on a dedicated off-road circuit?

How about this crazy idea?... Add off-road bikes to the mix as well for certain entertaining videos... The Himalayan and Xpulse... Imagine a relay race: one set of car + bike vs the other. The highlight would be having both the 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler teams Collab in a really fun event!

Thar has become so much friendlier but since the access to the second row isnt as easy, some people still shy away, especially those who intend to use it as a primary vehicle. Scorpio N on the other hand can be quite a handful on the tricky terrain, but if you replace the bumper with some proper offroad bit, it can do quite a bit more. A lift kit will further enhance its credibility off the road, all this without sacrificing much of its people moving capability. Given the trend, I am sure someone somewhere is already preparing "India's First Off-road modified Scorpio-N"

For the first time, some people doing a sensible review of car's capability. No tail wagging, no 'idhar aapko ye badging milti hai, udhar aapko wo chrome line milti hai' stuff. A car's functionality is the most valuable thing you buy for your money. What value is car if it cant do its job properly. Convincing and honest review, efforts are very much appreciated.

Instead of buying fortuner legendar (52 lacs) one can go for scorpio N AT 4×4 (27 lacs) and thar AT hardtop (18.5 lacs ) that is 45.5 lacs and still u save more than 5 lacs 😂😂😂😂 in which u can stage upgrade the engines of both the cars more than 200 bhp and still u will be left be some handsome money
