BJP MP Subramanian Swamy has demanded a probe by a senior Supreme Court judge into the helicopter crash near Coonoor in Tamil Nadu. Chief of Defense Staff General Bipin Rawat, his wife and 11 others have died in this accident. Only one person survived and is being treated at the hospital.
Swamiji described the incident as shocking and a big warning to national security. "The final report has not come, so it is very difficult for me to say anything, " he said. However, it seems that the helicopter has been blown up in a safe area like Tamil Nadu. Talking to the media, he said, this is something which needs to be investigated seriously. The public has to be taken into confidence, so the matter should be probed by a senior judge of the Supreme Court.
