This happened to our cat Sandlot. Our vet told us he couldn’t do anything. One of the worst things I’ve ever gone through seeing our cat beg us for help and all we could do was put him down.

Thank you for this. Now I know what was wrong with my boy Dango the day he died. We tried to get an emergency vet appointment but everyone was either not picking up or couldn't see him. It was horrendous. I just got a new kitten and I'm afraid I'll be watching him like a damned hawk now.

I came back from work and my cat was not moving and her back leg was not well as I looked closely so I thought to take her to the vet after he gave her shots she was totally relaxed and completely fine.The next day I woke up she was absolutely dead and she wasn't breathing it has been a year I can't forget about my baby😢 R.I.P bobo😔

My 17-19 year old beloved cat passed away 4 months ago sadly. Pretty unsure what age, somewhere in 2004-2006, i'm 21 now and she has been living with me for my whole life basically. She passed away of kidney failure, she was good 1 day before she got it, she started walking weird and could barely go eating or do activities. It got worse over time so 2-3 days after suffering we had to put her down :( worst pain ever.

My goodness I hope this baby gets better. My kitten experienced inability to walk & high fever as well as lethargy after his vaccines. He got limping calicia as a result of adjuvanted vaccines. He can only do the purevax shots now. Thankfully he got better after a lot of treatment, I hope this kitty does too. 💙

This happened to our kitty in January 2022. We unfortunately had to put him to sleep to end his suffering. Description is 100% accurate. In our case he also started foaming at the mouth and vomitted in route to the ER vet.

There are other things that look like this, so make SURE by going by the Vets. But be prepared. Saddle Thrombus cannot be fixed at this time and is very painful. You WILL most likely be advised to euthanize if this is what is happening, because there is little that can be done. Cats don't show pain if they can help it, so it is hard to tell if this is what is going on for sure unless you are trained. However, I thought this was going on with my baby and turned out that he just has diabetes, ha! (just) He was doing a thump-foot thing and using the whole bottom of his foot to walk with his rear paws. So other things CAN look like this.
