Thank you so much for exposing the truth! Indians need to know the truth. Some Indians are under a terrible misconception that Nehru & Gandhi gave India freedom!!

"Bose (Netaji Subhas) succeeded to liberate his motherland (India) posthumously..." writes an English historian Purcell. The widespread revolt by Royal Indian armed forces and public uprising in support of Netaji's INA in February 1946 during Redfort trial forced British govt to send Cabinet Mission for declaration of Indian Independence and accordingly British left India next year in 1947. This chapter of history was suppressed by Congress govt to give credit of independence to Gandhi and Congress party.

Some how MK Gandhi scored a point here. He was responsible for enrollment for the second world war. But perhaps never expected that they may lose their nuetrality.

Mountbatten wanted the date to be Memorable for him. The most memorable date was 15 th August as the Japanese had surrendered to him on that date

"Cut & Run" seems to be a common departing strategy of the occupation power. The most recent case involved the US ....retreat from Afghanistan!

Three main reasons British left India.

No 1) after 2nd World War British economy collapsed. That trend is continuing till now. So Britain could not afford to run such a big empire.

No 2) Mutiny in Indian Navy sent negative signal to British Admn. British could realize that it is no longer possible to keep navy men n total army to keep under their control. British officers feared persecution by the army men. Naval mutiny is the aftermath of success of INA.

No3) British could realize that they have nothing significant left in this Zamindari which can be exploited gurther.

Last but not the least British was so much afraid of Subhas Ch Bose that when they could not know the whereabouts of Netaji, their fear was multiplied . So they feel it safe to leave this country .

Subhash Chandra Bose's INA played a paramount role in getting us the independence.... the then Congress party was so hungry for recognition and credits.... they arrested all the INA soldiers and charged them with mutiny even after independence... we were slaves of Britishers before 1947, then puppets of the British and America.. and romiyo shooters of China in the 50 and 60... followed by advocates of Soviet union right upto 1990... and if we are not careful in choosing the right people in power... we will again be inslaved by the Chinese...

nope, hindu renaissance had already taken back 80% of islamic empire by 1730s. Brits had their first landmark victory in 1757 against a muslim ruler in east of india when they won the tax collection rights of a region close to 15% of total land of present day india.

Brits had to fight more with hindu rulers to take over india.
