2:45 Seeing how Rambley interprets what happened here is actually extremely sad. He thinks he did something to help Mollie to bring her back to he knows her to be but it reality, he decapitated her. We don't quite know what's up with the mascots yet but it was likely she's dead, or at least heavily damaged (the mascots may be able to survive without normally essential body parts). Rambley doesn't want to think the he ended up hurting her like he did. He dolled up what happened in his mind to try and make it easier to process, to make feel like he ended up helping her.

I love when you make “serious” songs, and this hit the spot in the conveniently shaped rambley hole in my heart

My favorite part of the game is how Rambley’s AI artifacting is handled- when he gets really emotional, it peaks, and when he’s being more honest to the Visitor and “off-script, ” he sounds less automated. He also moves more smoothly when acting less like an artificial intelligence… although I’m sure that was just for the ease of animation, it’s still cool.

Everyone's talking about how Rambley surpressed the memories of what happened to Molly, but nobody else notices the detail at 2:08 where you can see the marks from Rambley pressing his fingers against the screen?! The attention to detail in this is amazing, kudos to Inubis!

I feel so bad for the little guy. As far as his viewpoint is concerned, some catastrophic event caused everyone to leave his world and basically trap him in a solitary prison cell for 8 years. When he finally gets out, his entire world has been destroyed and all his friends are either missing or monsters. It actually makes me want to cry. Someone give him a hug. Right now.
