The TV program for Supercross and Motocross always brings up plenty of debates and controversy. Announcers and cameramen are bound to miss some of the action and most people understand when mistakes happen, but it's really disheartening when a LIVE broadcast of racing is postponed at the last minute. The second motos from the opening round of the Pro Motocross series at Pala were supposed to be LIVE on NBCSN, but Motocross fans ended up watching Hockey instead. For Episode 24 of This Week in MXA, Josh Mosiman interviewed Davey Coombs of MX Sports and RacerX to learn more about the logistics that go into broadcasting the series and learn about the difficulties our sport is facing with the NBCSN channel going away for 2022 as they switch all their programs to the Peacock Premium Streaming service. We also touched on some of the main topics from the Thunder Valley National and heard from Ken Roczen and Adam Cianciarulo as well.

I really liked it when Fox Sports carried SX. They never delayed broadcasting and they carried all motos. Sorry, I'm not paying for another streaming service.

The positive side is that way Motocross will be able to focus on Motocross, rather than dealing with the censors and politics that are infecting the fun.

Peacock has been fantastic, Love watching the qualis and turnd into a drinking game with the lads. $5 well spent

Great content Josh.
I wish Peacock would allow pause and rewind during the live stream like the NBC Gold app did.

How about you just stream it live to YouTube like GNCC and stop limiting the sport!?

It's cheaper and you get everything. No problems here.

Let Red bull sports app take care of it. They know what's up

Please sort it out in Australia, even if we could just have peacock tv here that would be all we needed.

Good insight on this! Thanks for talking to him and great to get a better inside understanding. I never had an issue with five bucks a month plus other shows.

It´s also not available in Europe. Witch sucks. Buying peacock and not being able to watch it sucks. + blocks vpn. So that did not work either...

You can not expect kids to have phones because they are not toys to play with, nor are they monitors.
Streaming is also hard because you need to have internet access wherever you are. Also, not many people will want to pay extra to subscribe to multiple services. They might pay around $500 a year, and that is not counting how much people have to pay for their internet provider if they wish to get 30 mbps internet.

I'll never get Peacock.
So big deal about that service.
I don't care. I'll wait and see it on yt if I have too.

I don't understand why we can't subscribe to peacock in Australia when it's not on our pay or free to air TV, it's not like they have another deal with anyone here that's going to lose viewers..

I'm old enough to remember when MX was something that was on TV once (USGP), maybe twice a year. Then with cable it found a home on TV for 25yrs., or so. Now all motorsports will be streaming. This isn't just effecting MX. My favorite motorsports like IndyCar, IMSA, NASCAR, NHRA, MXGP, MotoGP, F1, WEC, WRC, are all facing the same fate. This doesn't seem to be a big change to me. I already consume all of my MX content on websites or YouTube channels. We are watching this show after all and if I'm honest I haven't picked up a hard copy of MXA in at least a decade or more. "The times they are a changing" I will be streaming E-moto MX/SX races in less than decade, maybe sooner...🤷‍♂️

I can't get peacock premium in Australia and MavTV that I subscribed to doesn't show any of the races live and only has 2019 as the newest races. This sucks

NBC gold had on demand streaming, from timed qualifying to the last motto. Peacock if you miss it you miss it, is so inferior. I would gladly pay the extra money to not mis a minute of action..
