MLA needs to come to the C line. And same Samsung's QD-OLEDs.

A 42” qd-oled would be an instant buy for me.

I feel like many of these improvements could be baked into the older tv's software. Obviously some stuff is hardware limited but I still don't seem much reason to upgrade my CX yet. I want to spend the money but theres just not enough reason yet.

Think I'll just stick with my C1 for a few more years

Looking forward to C4 vs C3 Evo! Thanks.

I'll still go for the C3 once it gets discounted because I can't see myself having more than 120 fps playing at 4k on PC, the GPU i'd need is waaay to expensive.

Any word if the C4's HDMI's are HDMI 2.1 w/Full 48 Gbps Bandwidth that would allow it to run the 144hz at 4:4:4 ?

Great update by my go to channel before buying. Still enjoying C1 for Xbox & Apple TV. For my movies love my JVC 4K projector in bat cave. Buy 4K & BR disc, nobody deleting my films. Central stand great. Thanks Vincent for vlogs🖥️🎥📽️🎞️

I'm glad that I got the C3 and didn't wait for the C4. Maybe the C5 will get the MLA panel.

Phillips isn't using the UHD Alliance's FILMMAKER MODE. FILMMAKER MODE is required to be in all caps. That's why it just says "Filmmaker."

LG *IS* the first TV to finally bring FILMMAKER MODE to Dolby Vision—long overdue.

We need full DTS support!

Honestly, these yearly tiny incremental improvements for the display panel and picture processing are of course nice news but there's so many of us that doesn't even care when the only audio support is Dolby (and PCM?). DTS is SO popular on Bluray movies and all Bluray players got that codec support. But why no DTS support from LG and Samsung for the last maybe 5 years? It's SO anti-consumer. Sony still got DTS support which is great!

Why not even an option to add DTS support to LG and Samsung for all of us that wanna have it?

I know there are soundbars and stuff but you should not need to spend extra money on that for DTS...

This feels like MagSafe on MacBook Pro. Introduced in early 2006, removed late 2016, comeback in late 2021. But will DTS come back to LG and Samsung? Fingers crossed!!
