There are quite some genius parts to this piece.
First, Ludwig explained how the intro is simply a riff he did while playing with the recorder, so simple - yet so effective, mysterious and emotional. Gives a feeling of some ancient, desert-ish mythical environment sound.
The flutes on 1:00 are a clear homage to John Williams' style, as in Rey's Theme for example. Those come back again at 2:54.
The chord that is held at 1:27 is genius as well, it keeps you grounded as if you feel something is coming (and it is - the fanfare).
1:37 is where the fanfare begins, another great homage to Williams' style, the arpeggios of the strings back there is simply amazing.
The chord at 1:52 is simply amazing, some sudden F# on this Am/Dm scale.
Fanfare that starts at 2:18 is soooo good. The tuba and trombone bass.
Simply amazing theme, Thank you Ludwig Göransson!
