Hey guys JWhisp here and welcome to episode 1 of the new 1.16 survival lets play. In this episode we get started in our new world. Find a village with tons of diamonds in the chest and build a starter house!

5:40 when he finds diamonds those are taiga blacksmiths. They always have high tier loot(the grindstones indicate this) for some reason taiga's have a higher change for having multiple blacksmiths. In my bedrock seed(if you want it I can post it) both nearby taiga villages have double blacksmiths. Then the plains village across the mountain (~250-300 blocks away) only had one.

Edit 1- 7:40 on bedrock atleast the loot is NEVER the same, or usually. On my world with 2 taiga double blacksmiths we got around 15 obsidian and alot of iron armor. You probably won't get the same.

Edit 2- he found a triple blacksmith... Didn't know that was possible.

i'm gonna confirm that, yes, its possible to get diamonds from villages. its really rare for them to spawn in chests, like saddles. good find on 6 diamonds from chests in the village!

I love the vibes of the village you found (despite the diamonds hahah) I think the taiga/spruce biomes have such a cozy atmosphere compared to the regular forests. Thanks for continuing to upload with everything going on, your videos have been really comforting to watch during this crazy time
