I don't really care why it was taken down. I see Flappy Bird as the prime example for what's wrong with mobile gaming. Someone makes an extremely simple and repetitive game that hits it huge while people who actually put time and dedication into their games go completely unnoticed. And thankfully I don't tinker with apps or games on my phone so I don't have to deal with the crap that comes around.

I've only tried a Minecraft MMO version of Flappy Bird on a server earlier today and I've heard it was much harder than the original. The highest score I was able to get was 2 out of 24. The highest we've seen was 13 but that might have possibly been a hack.

What I thought he would do was make a couple of really popular but free games, then send out a game that costs some money, then really rake in the cash. He is obviously more brilliant that I had thought before.

Simple, if he takes it down he can't get sued because of the ripped off art assets yet he can still make the 50k a day from all the ad revenue! Can't deny he is a smart man!
