Filming my sons theatre productions with my m50 has shown me the necessity for a external mic. Thx for the terrific mic reviews. 👏👏👏

Listening on studio monitors I didn't hear a drastic difference in sound quality between the Rhode and 7ryms. The M1 had pretty remarkable clarity/presence, almost a bit too much but overall nice for what the mic is. Neither mic was stunning in the low end, but that is expected given they are intended to be used on camera, and you don't want to fight wind and handling noise any more than necessary. Great review. I love the feature set and is exactly what i have been looking for...a portable mic that can be used on camera or computer.

Wow. I think it sounds good. In my opinion I think the Rode sounds better, but not by much. I also really like the no battery feature and the versatility.

Hi, How does it look so similar to the Comica VM10 Pro?

Seems like a versatile 1 do all mic that can work with your camera, but also directly on your phone (usb c is starting to become a norm here in Europe at least, on smartphones, so it is like a videomic me-C), as well as your computer. It is the market I would be targeting if I were in the business of small form factor shotgun mics :) makes sense

This mic is very compact, and it can also be used with computer phones. The sound quality is also great. I like this video👍

I think the microphone at this price is very cost-effective, not bad!

Rode is better. But the 7, (the Bimbo, 🤣) if budget, is great for the price. Q: Couldn't you use a splinter, one for your mic jack into the camera and another to monitor the sound? My camera does not have a earphone jack😁

I think it sounds the same as the RODE indoor, but outdoor the RODE sounds better.

Doesn't seem like great audio quality. Maybe too much packed into one unit, which Water downs the microphone component. Sound quality, in my humble opinion, is very poor. Hissing noise while outside filming also
