I’m 67 and have smoked pot for 51 yrs. I smoke with my grandsons, but only after they graduated from high school!None of the 4 boys has ever been in trouble in any way. I don’t see it as an issue. They don’t drink alcohol or do drugs. 2 live downstairs!! 🥰😊👵🏻

The problem isn't substances, the problem is people who were never taught discipline, self-control and personal responsibility. My brother is not the same person because he did too many substances, I still don't blame those, I blame my parents for constantly kicking him out and denying him structure and security. I see exactly why he stopped caring about everyone and every thing, most people showed him he didn't matter to them.

The way everyone in my family explained this to the different teens of the family growing up, myself included, was "I understand you wanting this, we did it too. Now, either get smarter and don't get caught, or wait until you've moved out. Okay? Okay. Love ya."
