How can i combine my purchased kits n grooves in the SD card with the new firmware? And without losing my playlist (basically a chosen grooves kits n bpms for my songs / playlists) So Basically Do we lose our purchased drum kits n grooves when we do that? and our playlists inside the sd card? do they remain in the card?

I run my Beat Buddy as slave to Presonus Studio One. I works brilliantly with instant start ups and consistent tempo lock to midi time code. I will admit that setting up the devise in Studio One was a little confusing for me at first but once established the interface works faultlessly.

Hi everyone. I just got my beatbuddy 3 days ago and i tried to update the firmware..suddenly the power shutdown.

My unit doesn't have a power at all now. I'm super desperate to have it back now. I'm super stressed. I have followed the process in the forum how to power it back through Mac bit it was not successful. I have tried it several times.

My laptop doesn't have an SD slot big enough. Can I put SD card into BB and plug directly into laptop via USB to get updated?

Sadness. I just updated my firmware for the first time from 1.2 to 3.8 hoping the tempo knob would actually turn the tempo down, but as long as I've owned the unit the tempo only increases whichever direction i'm turning the knob. I still have to tap a lower tempo in order to decrease it. Really was hoping that was just an old firmware bug.
