For a while, PinkPantheress was a mysterious figure on tiktok, who entranced users with her mysterios, moody, music. Her sound, called "New Nostalgia" is in intricate mix of garage, bedroom pop, hyperpop, r&b, alternative pop, and samples, mostly from the 90s and 2000s. She kept her identity secret for a while, leaving everyone to guess at her identity. Pink Pantheress's virality has led her to opportunities like being part of a Marc Jacobs campaign, touring with Halsey, and being named the BBC's Sound of 2022. Recently, she did a Boiler Room performance with Flo and GoldLing. Pink Pantheress has worked from popular artists and producers including Willow, Kaytranada, Mura Masa, Shygirl, Lil Uzi, and beabadoobee. She's also received support from artists like Kayley Williams, Elton John, Billie Eilish, and Charli XCX.
