Trucker sentenced to 20 years after hitting bus

VIDEO: In a Bradford County court room Wednesday, Shannon Ford was sentenced to 20 years in prison after the truck he was driving plowed into a school bus full of elementary kids.

I don't disagree with the sentencing just the inconsistency with our judicial system. 20 years here. 3 years standard for a D.U.I. fatality.

As a former truck driver, I can tell you the damage done to that bus was by someone going at least 45mph in a semi, never should be hitting those speeds anywhere near a school bus, that's truck driving 101 🚛

Wow so he gets 20 years for not killing anyone but when someone actually kills someone they get 10 year's and this is why i think people should get back ground checks for obtaining a license

Bruh, he was getting it. She literally said she took off her clothes because "it was hot in the cabin" and that the crash "tore off her underwear" 🙄 We know now what lead to the accident

I definitely believe he deserved punishment. But I find it strange that a lady in Indiana (Fulton County) plowed through a bus stop, and killed 3 kids. She only got 4 years in prison.

This made me cry. It made me nauseous and cold feeling. I can’t imagine going through something so horrific, seeing your child thrashed and injured so seriously. I pray the families heal well and the kids as well.

Man this woman purposely zoomed off the road in a school zone to go around a stopped bus with it's stop signs out. She killed an 8 year old girl and got zero time. The justice system is a f'n joke!
