I was a bit disappointed to receive a negative result.
I was sick in December 2019. I started with a rash on my hips then a crackly voice and breathlessness. I had a cough, fever and a stinging rash on my legs. My breathing was so bad I was scared to go to sleep.
I work in a distribution warehouse and lots of us were sick from December right upto the first lock down.
We have worked through the pandemic and had very few covid cases since March 2020. Some, but nowhere near what you would expect.

Thanks for confirming in the video that you will be carrying out further antibody tests in summer to establish effectiveness of vaccine. ( particularly of interest to me since i had negative result four days after 1st vacc.)

Yes, woohoo, I'm so pleased to hear that! The fact that you can detect antibodies up to and over a year after infection is exactly what I want to hear, because I possibly had the illness in December 2019 as I had all the signs and symptoms, breathing difficulties and went into hospital. When I wanted to and should have been tested in March it wasn't even available. I did eventually do a test which I bought in early August as I couldn't wait any longer but by that time they weren't detectable which I was told was because studies showed that they waned after 3-4 months. That's such great news...

I had a positive antibody result from your test and I was wondering if you can tell from the test how many antibodies I have. My husband gave plasma and he received a letter to say he had a 'moderate amount of antibodies'. We both had the covid infection in November. Also I wondered if, after I have the vaccine whether the number of antibodies will increase? Thankyou, really interesting webinar.

This was a very interesting update. I can't wait to get the result of my antibody test. I think I had Covid in December courtesy of my son who brought it home from school and I am expecting this test to confirm it. I have now had a vaccine so am hopefully well protected.

Thanks much appreciated. I have been asked to do regular lateral flow tests in the work I am doing. Will be interesting to see what results I get with that and what result I will get with the one I did for you. No news for me yet:) I will let you know of course.

I'm confused, how can shielding possibly not reduce one's risk of catching SARS-CoV-2? If one isn't having contact with others and is disinfecting all items coming into the home, how would a person contract the virus?

My result disappeared when I went offline to check if I’d had my Covid jab before or after the blood test. Can I get it back and also check when I did spot check?

I have been told that my antibody test was negative. The next step is to let you know if I had the test before or after the vaccination I had my first shot on the 31st of January.But I have no record or memory as to when I sent my sample for antibody testing.There doesn’t seem to be a way of checking up on the date. I would have thought that is a very important point.It’s quite concerning if I’m negative even after my first jab. Is there anyway I could get a date for my antibody testing?

I received a positive result which came as a surprise, but on reflection, I did develop shingles last year. Might that be related?

Also, I wanted to know why the test result disappears after reading it. I wanted to show my doctor daughter the result but it was not longer on the link provided.

The monthly questionnaire does not ask about if/when vaccine doses were given or the results to the Covidence antibody test. Look like valuable information is being missed.
