I loved those super fancy dancy pants! Too bad all that bush whacking shredded them. Seriously - I have the utmost respect for what you have done on the trail so far. Bush whacking is no fun and I’m sure it had to get on your last nerve. But you kept at it and persevered. True grit! Looking forward to episode 8!

much respect, Dan, for all your hard ICT bush whacking or "schwackin" as I always called it. I did an alternate around Liz Butte down to Weitas Creek and around the Kelly Creek section. The western flank of Liz Butte is where I had my wolfpack encounter. These episodes are awesome, keep up the good work. - Ron

I did the windy creek section July 2018, insane bushwhacking. I was drenched head to toe because of a light rain that night. Sad to see that it did get seen to at all that summer.

Sometimes pard, you just have to stop, camp, dry things out and recoup your energy.  Screw the mileage and enjoy where you're at. No way would I be there without a fishing pole, but to each his own.  It's ridiculous that the Forest Service employs primitive tools to clear trails.  That's why they have such a huge backlog of trail maintenance work to do.  For administrative trail maintenance they should use modern tools (chainsaws) and they could double the amount of trail work accomplished.  Great series and accomplishment.  Respectfully...
