I swear to god, Melbourne is the most overrated list in the AFL. For a so called 'elite' player, Petracca is a plodder and is one of the reasons why we turn the ball over so often and get punished on the rebound. Our record since mid 2022 has been $HIT! How is it after a flag our forward line structure is still non existent? Why is Goodwin still going on about 'finding the right mix' MID WAY TRHOUGH 2023? Goodwin has been preaching about 'forward connection' in his pressers since 2018! How we have regressed so much since 2021 just beggars belief. We are not that good and why the media and the likes of David King continue to keep hyping us up is beyond me. It is about time to put the blowtorch on Goodwin.

Carlton are a basket case but we aren't that much better. Carlton are every chance to knock us off. Goodwin is one dimensional and has perisisted with a gameplan that has clearly been worked out. His all out philosophy on an all out turn over game style is outdated and he is struggling to get with the times. Hope the higher ups are talking to Damian Hardwick because I genuinely believe our spot in the 8 is in danger.

Who gives a toss about Carlton. Wtf are you spending all your time on a losing side for? If they’d won, I’m sure you’d spend the same amount of bs on them. It was make or break for both yet you round Sydney’s win down to a single player. In fact our entire back 6 did amazing! The young middy Warner had a cracker as well. And what about McAndrew in only his second game? What about Sydney’s accuracy up front finally?! It was a fumbling arm wrestle for sure, but I haven’t seen an in-depth analysis of Sydney’s structure Lewis Jetta’s slingshot years. I’m more interested in how Sydney came to win it rather than how Carlton lost.
