It is funny to think a card that can hold credit with NFC technology cost RM10 and a small RFID sticker cost RM35.

If your phones NFC can reload the card, it makes you wonder why don't they just cut out the card and allow you to tap an NFC enabled phone to make payments.

NFC is highly convenient when it comes to making payments. NFC payments are great to engage the customers and it has become a new normal too.

It is not just you. It is indeed very buggy. It should be able to detect the card seamlessly but it doesnt, My trick is instead of tapping the card I place the card horizontally on the table and then place the iPhone on top of the card vertically so that the card touches the top part (including the camera) and that works for me consistently. Holding both the card and the iPhone in hand and trying to tap, that is very very buggy.

The amount of times in scanning the cards for the reload process is just so ridiculous to me. And frequently the card can’t be detected and shown errors. Oh my. I thought we are moving forward with efficiency. Not redundancy.

So i assume this is the reason that cause the card to be out of stock for like 3 mths and emerging resellers selling them for twice or triple fold of its original price?? Since they have the touch n go app that's nfc enabled, why not just use our phone as a touch n go instead? I know the technology is different but hey, Samsung Pay did it.

Can I check the Enhanced Touch N Go card straight away after passing a charging toll to see how much I have been charged?

Or do I need to wait for at least 24 to 48 hours before the charges are up to date in my Touch N Go eWallet?
