I love the concept art of Jabba being eaten by his rancor.

Something seems off in this video. Malakili was alive and wasn't executed. The part from legends you might be referring is this.

"He was planning on betraying Jabba to Lady Valarian and leaving with the rancor because Jabba planned on pitting it against a Krayt dragon, which would surely kill it. He even hid a camera for her in Jabba's throne room. When Gonar threatened to blackmail Malakili with evidence of the planned betrayal, Malakili murdered him and fed the body to the rancor. "

Loving the short format. The longer ones were informative too, but it's nice to not have statements repeated.
Your depth of knowledge on the subject is admirable as always.

Nah. I think Return of the Jedi clearly implied the rancor was raised from a pup by that weird looking dude who worked for Jabba in the basement. He started crying like it was his baby.

The look on the face of the Hutt in the hand of the rancor on the title pic is priceless.

Love these short to the point vids. Always love the in depth ones too. But it's nice when you don't have a whole lot of time on ur hands. Another great vid. Also WOW I would NOT want to work for Jabba.

In EP6 we see a guy bursting in tears seeing the rancor dead. With a clear close attachment to the creature. Now i don't really know what the video refers, but if i were make the legends that guy would be the Rancor's caretaker, and has close emotions to the beast. So he could not die before the rancor at the very least.

Tales of Jabba's palace, the rancor handler, was actually working on a plan to get the rancor away from Jabba before Luke killed it.

Wasn't Malakili the guy crying when Luke killed the rancor and wasn't executed by Jabba

I'm pretty sure he got his rancor in the Bad Batch Season 1

I do like the short form. Always good stuff, the longer stuff is always worth watching too, but sometimes I never get around to watching if I don't think I'll have time to watch the whole thing. Short stuff is good!

A Krate Dragon versus a Rancor isn't a fight, it's a feeding.

Because you asked, here is my opinion, I am less likely to watch something greater than 8 min, under 5min is preferable as usually I have other stuff to do. So short formats are great. I rarely ever watch stuff greater than 20min.

I’ve always wondered how it ended up in Jabba’s palace.
