1:52 I think my biggest frustration with Tron is how much it's left the Walt Disney World Railroad in limbo. The railroad's now been down for over 3 years, which is absolutely ridiculous for any Disney attraction. Considering they've been able to get all the locomotives refurbished at Strasburg, I would've really appreciated them to make more of a push to get the trains running again.

I was only ever tepidly excited for Tron, and I grow less interested the longer it takes. It is insane that they've let it go on this long while Universal puts out Hagrid's AND Velocicoaster in less time. The railroad is a vital piece of what makes The Magic Kingdom great, and to have it closed this long is a real shame.

The main reason they've stretched out construction is stock prices and earnings/expense reporting....they have slowed construction to spread the expense over multiple fiscal years/ quarters ... looks better for the bottom line when theyreport to stockholders.... it's that simple. All about $...

Great video thank you! I have felt even with the pandemic, a company like Disney, there is no excuse for this lengthy delay. What makes me put off is the delay of the train. I know obviously the construction of Tron affects the ability to bring back the train. I mean it’s been since 2018! That’s just poor planning. If they knew Tron was going to be significantly delayed, alternative plans should have been planned to temporary bring back the train in some capacity.

No changes in thoughts: Tron doesn't belong at Magic Kingdom.... at least not in the way it was plopped down. I would have rather seen Tomorrowland completely Tronified to bring the existing space age retro into a futuristic newer look, but not totally gutting Tomorrowland either: just upgrading.

Haven't heard a construction update on Tron in what feels like forever. Thanks for the update, Jack. As much as the hype has definitely died down a bit (rightfully so), still can't wait to finally experience this attraction - although I'm probably more excited for the aesthetics of the canopy more than the experience itself.

I really think Disney has to open another park in Orlando. The current parks are always so packed its losing its enjoyment. I've been going almost yearly for the past 20+ years and have a total of 25 plus visits ( I know, not a lot but enough to speak with experience) and I have noticed a frustration building up in me when going there the last 5-10 or so years. I've tried different times of the year and even the supposed "slow time" in september and It just doesn't matter. Hour long waits on almost every attraction and packed parks with over run food courts just make it less and less enjoyable. I did get a good kick when they were doing the late night hours thing prior to the lock downs. That was a real good time and so little people being there made it extra special. A little pricey at 125 bucks ( if i remember correctly) per night but I honestly would say, It was worth it for the two nights we did it. Especially if you're someone like me that gets annoyed at the parents using their strollers as battering rams and the other people moving so slow you try to maneuver around them as you get to watch the group of 25 people jump the line right in front of you. I don't know, If they lowered the late night thing to 75 bucks a ticket and had it at every park with alternating nights, That would be amaze balls but I CAN'T see that being crazy financially profitable for them. It would go a long way and providing for their customers but we all know, thats not something they truly care about anymore.

Fantastic video on the progress of the Tron Lightcycle Rolacoaster Jack. Things surely look like they are coming on. I think Disney will want to take all its focus on Gardians of the Galexy Rolacoaster for 2022. It makes sense to open Tron for 2023 for Disneys 100 anniversary. I am excited for everthing coming to Walt Disney World and visiting and seeing a tune load of updates and changes with new rides come 2023.

I think it will open in October to shorten the off season, they just can’t announce it yet without the summer crowd postponing their trips, Disney already learned from star cruiser that people will cancel trips

The hidden Mickey is at 1:52 over on the right hand side. Love your in depth content as always. You always have the best rumors and updates on Disney. Cannot wait for Tron to finally open, even though Disney isn't my favorite right now.

Wow I would have thought the railroad was back in operation. Can’t wait to see Epic Universe open in 2023 and how Disney responds.

As much as I appreciate u stating all these valid reasons for the delays re: Tron construction, I’m stunned that it’s taking this long smh

I agree the biggest loss with TRON was the railroad being down. I took my granddaughters in March of 2020 for their 1st visit and now train ride for them. We have decided not to return to WDW until the train reopens. Universal can turn a attraction around in no time and it takes Disney forever.

This is why Universal will be the King in Orlando eventually once Epic Universe open. Disney has lost its magic for fans like myself which I've gone to since my childhood over 1000 times due to its all about money, not what it was like in my youth. So if it's about money Universal wins cause we get more bang for our buck. Sad to say cause i love Disney and Star Wars. Universal has gone full Harry Potter which I wish Disney would have done the same for Star Wars but they didn't.

Just got back from Disney World, and it was easily the most disappointing trip I’ve ever had. Food and merch prices were way up, much less amenities, much less entertainment, and the single worst crowds I’ve ever seen, and the second week of January no less. I’ve been many times in July and December, and I’ve never seen anything like this. Maybe the crowds weren’t higher, and there are just longer waits due to so many things being closed, but Winnie the Pooh was at least 60 minutes all day, and the People Mover was 45 minutes at its lowest. If this is the new normal, I’m done with Disney. I was miserable all week, and that’s not what I want to feel on a vacation. I’ll go hiking or stay home and play video games.

Im not realy sure what could be causing this many delays, by my enthousiasm has definitally decreaed, I wish it more more of the intensity of Velocicoaster

1:52 it’s definitely economic reasons for the delay, pure and simple plus Disney don’t want to promote/open 2 big new rides in 2022 when they can easily move one of those to 2023 and still keep it as part of the 18 month long 50th anniversary celebration.

1:52...I didn't have a problem with the TRON delay initially because I hoped it meant the EPCOT transformation would get done much faster...Now, it just seems like both transformation are just dragging on forever.
