Excellent information. Thank you! I have a an abandoned lifestyle blog that I've changed to a personal blog (i changed urls and basically started over in Pinterest). I love to write personal essays and about anything that inspires me - and I love to inspire others. I get excellent feedback on my stories, but the subjects are random and vast. I write about anything really. There is no niche - just ponderings, curiosities, opinions, etc. Currently, I don't have a specific niche (other than being a personal blog) nor do I sell anything. I do, however, recommend my favorite things (again, no specific subject) and have affiliate links because people are always asking me for them. In the past, even though I didn't have tons of posts, most of my traffic came from Pinterest, so it definitely works for me (but again, my blog was more lifestyle oriented). My most popular blog post and pin is titled: 50 by 60: 50 Things To Do Before I Turn Sixty" --- I followed your advice and looked at Audience Insights and All Pinterest Users and those categories don't really fit for me now. Do you have any advice for those of us who are personal bloggers who don't have a specific niche? I'm having a hard time, especially with creating boards. -- Thank you so much. You are a GEM!

Thank you for your directness (great attitude!) regarding that Pinterest may not be a good idea for anybody ... I want to promote German-language books and saw already the main target market of Pinterest is the USA ... So at least no illusion about the limitations.
