Fwoosh Play Day! Customs, 3D Prints, Third Party and Official Items for a 6-inch Display 05/24/22

Just a day to take a quick look at some of the random 1/12 scale items items I've picked up, customized or been sent over the past few months to supplement my Star Wars and Marvel displays, like more Astonishing X-Men, another astromech for my droid army, fancy duds for Mastermind, fixes for Lord of the Rings and Legends, and some store bought goodies.

That Cyclops is, well, astonishing! That look is my preferred version so I've been waiting for a Hasbro to do it on the Bucky Cap mold but this has definitely convinced me that Spider UK is the way to go.

I've been getting more and more into customizing figures, loving it more, and getting much better at it. I've been re-doing or taking apart customs from years ago, re-visiting and fixing them with the skills I've learned, it's great! I enjoy getting figures on clearance and then turning them into other characters I want and I've really been having a good time painting DC multiverse figures, they're relatively cheap and easy to find, it's just a nice way to pass the time when you want something semi-creative to do. Always appreciate your tips and ideas as well, thanks Robo!

Count me in the number of people who snagged a Zyclops to use as a Mandroid stand-in. It also has a waist swivel and can get into some nice action poses. Thinking I need three more at the very least.

Even if a custom wasn’t perfect or was bad. I would never make comments like that. It’s just rude someone put blood sweat and tears into that project and I totally respect that. I’m sorry you get comments out there like that but you do great work Robo keep it up!

I really like that Mastermind Jacket. That figure and that jacket and a little creative kitbashing with head sculpts would make a really good 1/12-6in Scarecrow.

Recently I’ve gotten that itch to start a new custom project, but all of my tools and paint are back home. I’m going to have live vicariously through Robo’s Play Days.

We have the same philosophy when it comes to custom figures. I don’t need 100% screen accurate as long as I’m happy with it and it looks good with my shelf.

The new Lego star wars has a grey wookie just like yours, so you can call it a wandering wookie custom if the fancy strikes you
