Happy Sabbath from Malaysia, dear Martin & Walter. Thank you for this conversation. Your channel actually attracts a lot of people who had withdrawn themselves from the organized church and they, as you said, barked towards the church from the outside, decrying the church as Babylon. I am of the ones inside the church who sees so many broken people, so many errors yet I choose to stay because I have hope of revival. I hate what they're doing but I know most of the time it's not intentional. They're ignorant because they had neglected God's word. And sometimes those in church who knows God's word don't apply the Word to their hearts, making them combative, argumentative and critical of the leadership. So many things going on, I get very overwhelmed a lot of times and weep for it.

But I cannot leave, as there is no other church that has the truth. And someone has to keep the lighthouse going, someone has to stand for God's truth, yes even in God's own church. I'm tired. I have my own personal sins to deal with, I have my family that I have to reach, my friends my colleagues. It seems impossible. But God is the one who is strengthening me day by day. I long for Jesus to return. God bless your ministry and those who chose to stay.

I am an 86 year old new Adventist. It is hard to be an Adventist. It seems like there are so many things to feel guilty about. And having family who are not believers or are evangelicals and not interested in hearing the deeper truths of Sabbath, etc

we're "worse than they" because we have had the revelation of Jesus Christ - the promise fulfilled, the character of God on full display, no longer in "shadows and symbols" and we are without excuse who continue to cling to membership and its related behaviours for salvation and refuse righteousness by faith and a new heart - let's focus on the magnificence of the love of God until it changes us - in Creation, at Gethsemane, on the cross. Let the Desire of Ages be our desire. By beholding we are changed. From the inside out. And rest in His arms.

I am new to the SDA movement (I mean, literally new, had no religious upbringing at all) and I just cannot believe how many lukewarm pastors and members you have.

I was so disheartened and had decided to avoid the local church services. But now I will try going back again (and I will do my very best to be patient with them (patience and tolerance are not my things 😬(I do pray for those qualities 🤦🏻‍♀️)).

Thank you for this message!! My family and I are saddened to recently find out the father of my children (my exhusband) - a missionary and pastor at one point is no longer an Adventist.

In fact he is called by so many to preach against Adventism and he believes we are a false church! It started by believing heretical ideas against the Holy Spirit.

My children are broken hearted as am I. I pray that God can help all of us and those who have been deceived!! 🙏🏻

I ask for prayers for my family and all of us whose families are being attacked by the enemy's tactics. Thank you 🙏🏻

Regarding the young leaving the church, perhaps one reason is because when they were children, instead of sitting in the Sanctuary during Evangelistic meetings or church service many churches decided to have "kids church" where they played, did fun art, drank coolaid and ate cookies instead of hearing and learning what they needed to hear and learn. That is why many young, Adventist adults don't know basic truth... and leave. Tragic fact.
