How to localize an app, I contrast UICulture from Culture. For a simple example of localization download and inspect the "VS Release Shortcutter". For language enumeration and currentCulture overriding, take a look at Notepad Enhanced which I have managed to keep very organized.

Wow.  Fantastic.  Like that you point out difference between UI and general resources.  Like that you discuss parent cultures.  Showing static members in debugger was also very interesting.

Thanks, I'll take this as a starting point towards learning localization. BTW, I know this video is 9 years old, but I'll leave my feedback anyways as a native spanish speaker. Google translate isn't the most reliable way to, well, translate. "Form" doesn't mean "Forma" on this context. "Formulario" is what we use for Windows Forms. For "Haga click en mí" I would simply use "Haga click" or "Clickeame" instead. Ofc, you wouldn't master an entire language just for a YT video, so it's ok as a fast solution. The video in general is great.

Does not work. I have serveral resource files and tested with different culture. Nothing happens. Still takes the default one.

Is the size of the form also part of the localization? When you selected Spanish as your culture the form had a different size as in English 🤔
