The bigger question is why did they integrate the washer in the logo like couldn’t they just integrate the camera in the logo so that it pops out when you need it?

My A class for $25k just opens the latch for the camera - crystal clean quality everytime. BMW needs to get a grip.

My family’s car does that and it’s just an extra sprayer piped to the rear window. Just spray the rear window and it will get your camera too, no fancy pop out needed.

Mercedes benz back in the 90s did this with their headlights and they had small wipers and on the windshield they had a big single wiper and they were ahead of their time

Because putting the reversing camera where the washing function is located (as Mercedes and VW do it) apparently was too complicated.

Try getting out and wiping it off occasionally! Then your car won't have soap residue on it all the time! Or maybe a better design?🤔
