As someone who manages classified documents, it's unimaginable that anyone get away with this mishandling from he or the couriers. If he doesn't go to jail, it sets a precedence for the rest of us and adds significant risk to our national security

This is absurd. Should have been rejected on its face. Nothing in Article 2 of the Constitution gives the president immunity nor does it exempt him from prosecution while in office. P

The only reason Trump would even bother asking for immunity is if he fully knows and understands that he has committed acts that are in violation of the law.

I totally agree with every word from Sen Claire McCaskill. Especially the "I dare them."

I have always viewed my country as the best, strongest, honest, and fairest in the world. I've been so proud and felt very fortunate to be part of this great democracy.

I have also feared for those who live in a country led by a dictator who uses the military to go after their political opponents or their own people, who destroy their institutions & everyone who dares to criticize the dictator.

But now, I'm feeling that same fear for our country and our democracy.
And worse yet, to see and hear how many in our govt are willing to be faithful and loyal to a wannabe dictator.

I'm reminded of Germany 1933, it started with a visious dictator who Trump mimics in many ways during his hate rallies.

Scotus should never have even heard this case, but just ruled with the appeals court who did an excellent job writing their rejection. That's what would normally happen, unless there was clear error. There was no error. Scotus just purposely delayed the case for Trump.
