Lately, I've been watching a lot of these Congressional hearings and I can't for the life of me understand why so many people fail to answer basic yes or no questions and have to overpoliticize to death every single word they say. It baffles me that so many people in power in our nation are truly so indoctrinated and scared that they can't produce comprehensive, meaningful thoughts such as answering yes or no questions with yes or no.
