European Central Bank President Christine Lagarde addresses inflation in the euro-area and says the central bank "will go as far as necessary to ensure that inflation stabilizes at our 2% target over the medium term." Lagarde speaks at the ECB Forum on Central Banking in Sintra, Portugal.

EU politicians and ECB bureaucrats maneuvered the euro monetary system into a dead end street. Experts warned about this situation for more than 20 years but nobody wanted to listen or they were dismissed because of their concerns. Major reforms have to be made or else the people of euro countries will feel it badly.

Management of perception economics is all there is now.. they can't raise rates or they will detonate the entire financial system.

2 % Target over the medium term okay. 10% inflation for one two years is fine don’t worry 😉 we make the medium with the last 10 years and the inflation is low. Congrats 🎉 I know why I don’t trust the ecb 👍🏻
