How to solder two wires end to end

Heres my take on how to solder two wires together end to end.

Well done and a very neat job. When I first saw what you were going to do, I thought the connection might not be strong enough if the wire might be stressed lengthwise but I see that it really is strong enough. Thanks for posting this.

If you have to put heat shrink and the two ends of the wire are connected, do not forget to put the shrink on the wire before soldering ;)
