the sound on this EP is perfect Bon Iver to me. more complex and layered than the stripped down folk on For Emma, but less orchestral and more intimate than the subsequent albums. I know it's unlikely Justin will go back to this sound, but I want a whole album like this EP - quiet, stark, ghostly and melancholic.

I heard this song in a bar in Charleston, SC like 8 years ago not knowing what it was or who it was by. I was mesmerized and couldn't stop thinking about the song. For 8 years, I had the melody stuck in my head, but could only remember the lyric "the snow started falling" Today, I finally heard the song again, on the show 'Chuck' of all places.
I thought I'd never hear it ever again in my life. I cant describe the feeling I'm having right now with words.
