I can understand making one of these homemade racing cars based on a plane, a fire engine, even the pizza seems somewhat reasonable, but making a racing car out of a hospital bed is unhinged and I love it.

Missed opportunity to not do this concept with other non-licensed themes (dreamz, Ninjago, friends, monkie kid, etc.). Heck let’s include some vintage call backs or recently retired themes like Hidden Side.

I picked these up the other day and I was so excited! I LOVE them! My favorite is the hospital patient one, the IV drip and vitals chart make it look so good and I love the little hand bandage piece!

The town of Greenville, Michigan, has strong Danish heritage and has a huge Danish Festival every year to celebrate. There’s a lot of attention paid to Hans Christian Andersen’s works and other cultural pieces of Denmark. There’s a Lego build competition for kids that I won once, as well as a Princess and the Pea inspired Bed Race in which competitors ride a hospital bed down a hill to try to be the firsł to a finish line. I want to try to sneak in the hospital bed soapbox car from 60459 into the race next year since it just seems so perfect for that.

6:44 The instructions may seem silly, but I can confirm that my 3.5-year-old was able to successfully build these little cars without any supervision. In that regard, they work beautifully.

At first glance this looks quite absurdist. If it's a soapbox race, maybe it's more plausible than some recent City sets.
